BYE 2016, SEE YOU NEVER
You know what? Kylie Jenner was right. 2016 was the year of realizing things. These realizations were what made this year so good to us. Without a doubt 2016 sucked for a lot of good reasons but personally, it was definitely, without a doubt, an amazing year for us.
Stephanie and I have been friends for over 12 years. We made it into our first year of our twenties together all while still being best friends. We realized that not everyone gets to experience a friendship like the one we share. It’s definitely something we’ve learned to not take for granted. Friendship was a big theme this year. We made so many cool friends, it’s almost hard to believe it was only this year that we met them. These new friendships have given us the opportunity to collaborate and experience so many different things that have only influenced us in a positive way. This was the first year that we felt we finally found people that we can collaborate with on any type of creative endeavor without being questioned. We also experienced a lot of live music this year, especially local. We discovered the local music scene this year by accident and have loved it ever since. We have found the creatives that allowed us to share our talents and put them to good use. So thank you for giving us the opportunity to photograph your EP release, first music festival, band photoshoot, and over all believing in our craft.
2016 was good to us and we’re excited for what 2017 has to offer.
